Recap: Freshman Class Outings!

For the freshman class, we once again resumed our John Bible Study, this time going over the end of John 1 as we studied how Jesus met his first two disciples, Andrew and Nathaniel.

This week, we got to see the how Jesus met his first disciple Andrew with the simple words "Come and you will me see". We got to see Jesus open himself to everyone to just more than teaching his values and rules, but rather opening Andrew to spend time with him, to begin a relationship.

As many of us were in the midst of preparing for the Freshman-Hosted TFN called Re:fresh( Friday May 6, 7pm), this bible study came at an opportune time. Just like Jesus invited those who seeked Him to come and see Him for themselves, this motivated all of us to share with our friends about Re:fresh, and perhaps through the event they can come and hopefully learn about Christianity.

After the bible study some of us went to La Jolla Shores for some Sports, while others went to the Coronado Ferry Landing to see some sights and also had a "light graffiti" contest. Some teams were really creative! Which one looks the best? We then ended the night with more late night food because we were still hungry, so we went to Hammond's Ice Cream and Tacos El Gordo!

See you next week!
